The plaintiff owned a truck and hauled for the defendant timber, mostly jack pine bolts, from the woods to its plant, a distance of 28 miles, at an agreed price per cord. While doing so he sustained an injury by a piece of wood crushing one of his fingers when he was unloading. The industrial commission found that he was an employe within the compensation act and not an independent contractor. It is held that the evidence sustains the finding and that the plaintiff was entitled to an award of compensation.
